Beliefs
The Greek people of Hermicous believed in the classical Greek Polytheism. Polytheism is the belief in many gods. The city of Hermicous has the patron god Hermes, the god of messaging, travel, shepards, merchants, weights and measures, oratory, literature, athletics and thieves. Though our patron god is Hermes the whole Greek pantheon is worshiped.
Philosophy
The Hermicon philosophy is that the smarter man wins. In any situation the more intellectual decision is best, be it a tactical decision in battle or a business desision. Hermicons are rational and smart. Education is important and people will give everything for it. Though Hermicons are rational they will put their own wellbeing above any others. This makes Hermicons good bussniess people because they will make intellectual decisons on how to make more money, even if it hurts someone else. Also forgien trade is embaraced because they can improve themselves though the consumption of new goods and ideas. This is the basic philosophy of Hermicons.
