In Hermicous education is an important thing for a young boy to go through.  The Hermicon philosoph on education is that it is very important and that the smarter man is the better man.  Richer families are able to send their boys to school.   In school the boys learn things like reading, writing, math, science, and philosophy.  But boys who want to do other things than school, go into the military or take apprenticships.  Apprenticships are when the young boys work for other people to learn a certain trade.  Poor children, like those born to farmers, learn the trade of thier parents from thier parents.
